Synergy.
The remodelling process can be seen from the very first sessions. While radiofrequency heats up the surface tissues making them velvety and toned, the cavitational effect of the ultrasound waves boosts the thermal effects, facilitating lipolysis and fat drainage. The effects of Therma-SHAPE are enhanced by the regular use of the ad hoc I’magine products.
Radiofrequency.
Radiofrequency, the emission of (non-ionising) electromagnetic waves, is applied to the body with the aim of bringing slowed-down physiological processes back to normal. Transporting energy and heat to the dermis creates an endothermic effect which exerts a positive action on the lymphatic and vascular systems and on the adipose/connective structures.
Effects on the body:
- Reduction of veno-lymphatic stasis
- Improvement in drainage
- Fat metabolism acceleration
- Fibroblast stimulation with consequent firming effect
- Increase in tone
Ultrasound.
Ultrasound waves, which are high frequency sound waves produced by the dilation and compression of a crystal with piezoelectric properties, exert a micromassage on human tissue. They have an effective lipolytic action.
Effects on the body:
- Movement of fats
- Recovery of tissue metabolism
- Breaking up of collagen fibres with a fibrolytic effect
- Tissue relaxation and reduction of imperfections connected with cellulite.
Photodynamic energy.
Photodynamic energy is produced through the emission of a beam of light.
Its main function is the reconditioning of skin damaged by transitory lymphatic and venous stasis.
Effects on the body:
According to the wavelength emitted, photodynamic energy has a number of different effects, including:
- Photostimulation (red): stimulates fibroblasts, consequently reinforcing and restructuring the dermis. When used in synergy with radiofrequency and ultrasound it also improves skin tone and tissue elasticity.
- Photodetoxification (yellow): has a detoxifying and draining action on the tissues and is therefore very useful for treating imperfections such as cellulite, oedema and tissue congestion.
- Photorelaxation (blue): normalizes skin tissue. Is ideal when combined with wellness programmes. Has a calming, decongestant and analgesic action.
Treatments and applications.
Simple, pain-free and non-invasive, the treatments do not restrict the customer’s normal activity in any way.
The applications are based on the use of three handpieces with specific functions:
1) It combines photodynamic stimulation with the action of radiofrequency and ultrasound.
2) It adds a “detoxifying” photodynamic action to radiofrequency and ultrasound.
3) It induces photo-thermal relaxing biostimulation.
Each handpiece corresponds to one or more pre-set protocols for:
